Witchboard 2: The Devil's Doorway (1993)

Check out the all new WITCHBOARD 2 page at SET-JETTER.COM

ORIGINAL BLOG:

As much as I loved the original Witchboard, I never got around to seeing Witchboard 2 until this year.   Like the first film, Kevin Tenney has created a solid film with some unique camerawork and great set-pieces.

First up is the main apartment location, attached to the famous Starkman building seen in many productions and most recently featured on my The Morning After blog entry.  For most of the film, they use the small one-floor side of the building...

For the finale of the film, they switch to the other side of the building...

Another great set piece is the brutal demise of Laraine Newman at the Scrap Iron & Metal building...

I saved the next series of locations for last.   It is a great scene where a character loses control of his vehicle.   The first camera shot is impressive as the camera moves "through" the windshield, car, and out the back.   Because there are so many quick cuts, the next series will just be location shots followed by screenshots for the whole sequence....
